Application process
Applications may be submitted online, by phone, in person, or by mailing, faxing, or hand-delivering a completed application to the DCBS office in your county of residence. Applicants will be contacted to complete an interview after their application is received.

Eligibility
Open to Kentucky residents who:
- are U.S. citizens or qualified legal foreign residents
- have a with a gross monthly income at or below 130 percent of the federal poverty level and a net monthly income at or below 100 percent of the federal poverty level.
With some exceptions, individuals age 18-59 who are able to work must look for employment, accept a suitable job if offered, and not voluntarily quit a job or reduce work hours in order to maintain SNAP eligibility.
