Provides financial assistance for combat wounded, critically ill, and injured service members and their families during hospitalization and recovery. Assistance includes:
  • Bedside Financial Support: offers needs-based financial assistance for expenses that are most pressing during a long hospitalization or rehabilitation. Covers expenses such as additional travel/lodging expenses, childcare, and out of pocket expenses.
  • Housing Assistance: provides adaptive housing for wheelchairs and helps those who have fallen behind on housing payments due to injury.
  • Transportation Assistance: offers adaptive modes of transportation including modified wheelchairs, lift ramps, vehicles, and snow removal equipment.
