Transitional Housing | Emmanuel Promise Of Hope Ministries

Provides rooms in houses for those moving from homelessness to self-sufficiency. There are 3 houses total. Individuals are expected to maintain their rooms, to do their laundry, to purchase and prepare their own food, and to interact with and get support from other residents through regular house meetings.

24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. There is a night-time curfew of midnight (M-Th) and 1:00am(F, Sa).

Application process

Phone for information or to seek admission M-Sa: 8:00am-6:00pm. May also leave a message 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Process includes an initial phone screening and, if appropriate, an in-person interview. There is sometimes a waiting list.

Eligibility

Men aged 21 and older who are moving from homelessness (anywhere) to self-sufficiency. Residents must be employed and able to pay the fee; drug and alcohol free for at least 90 days. Random drug screenings are conducted on residents. Those who fail drug screenings are immediately evicted. Mentally ill individuals who are stable on medications are accepted. Residents may stay at the facility up to a year.
