UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION | OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES
Provides regular unemployment compensation if a person worked long enough in covered employment, lost a job through no fault of their own, is able and available for work and is actively seeking work. Also provides disaster-related unemployment, if unemployment is caused by a federal declared major disaster, an individual may be eligible for up to 26 weeks of Disaster Unemployment Assistance administered by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
