Board members must be residents of Licking or Knox Counties and are expected to attend monthly board and committee meetings, participate in fundraising and other Board events.

MHRLK is selected by state law to fund community-based behavioral health care (mental health recovery and substance abuse/addiction services) to citizens of Licking and Knox Counties regardless of individual financial circumstances. 

MHRLK makes services available through contracts with local not-for-profit agencies that follow strict standards mandated by the state and federal governments and by MHRLK.
