Call the Tax Installment Plan office or visit the website for more information. The Fiscal Officer cannot and does not raise or lower property taxes. The taxes are determined by the budget requested by each local governmental unit and the tax levies authorized by the voters. Call the office to enroll in the Tax Installment Plan (TIP).
Five percent enrollment charge for the Tax Installment Plan. To enroll for the Tax Installment Plan, must be the homeowner, not enrolled in the Delinquent Tax Program, and current on previous taxes and assessments.

Description
Responsible for the collection of Real Estate Taxes on all properties in Summit County. Real estate tax bills are mailed semiannually. The most noted and largest dollar amounts collected come from real estate and personal property taxes. Other taxes collected are mobile home taxes, hotel-motel, and special assessments. Offers a monthly tax installment payment plan (T.I.P.) option for homeowners with financial difficulties.
