Darke County residents, age 21 and older, who are mentally competent and not a chronic abuser of drugs or alcohol. Permits will NOT be issued to felons or those currently being prosecuted for any felony or a violent or drug-related misdemeanor.
A completed application form, passport size photos, copy of training certificate, and State ID with photo or Ohio drivers license. The application can be found by checking the Sheriff's office website or www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov, the website of the Ohio Attorney General.
Requests for concealed carry applications, address changes, and misplaced and stolen card replacements will be accepted by appointment only. The CCW office is open every other Tuesday, every Wednesday and Thursday, and every other Friday.
