Health Outreach-Uss Caring Services | United Senior Services

A Community Health Worker assists older individuals to access community resources, to maintain their health and wellbeing, to advocate to live in the community safely, and encouragement to participate. The CHW stays in touch by phone, visits in the home, and in group settings providing assistance to access immunizations, health screenings, transportation to medical appointments, resources to live independently, and assistance to manage overall wellness by addressing social determinants.

United Senior Services mission is to enhance the lives of Clark County older adults by offering quality services that promote general well being, socialization and independent living. USS encourages participants to be active, involved and independent. In-home services, such as meals, transportation, homemakers, respite care, and personal care aides, are available to all eligible Clark County senior citizens regardless of membership. Community services such as income tax preparation, Medicare open enrollment and health education also do not require membership. Fitness, social and recreational activities at our centers are for people who are 55 or better and a member of USS. Annual membership fee is $15 for Clark County residents.
