Phone the state eligibility contact center M-F: 8:00am-1:00pm (due to high call volume, caller may be given the option to recieve a call back - if they choose this option they should get a call within one business day). May also apply, renew, and/or update case information through website anytime (client must have an email address to do this). Applications and free faxing/scanning are available at any Neighborhood Family Service Center (NFSC) M-F: 8:00am-4:30pm (also at branches of the Cleveland, Cuyahoga, and Shaker Heights Libraries during their normal hours of business). NOTE: Clients who are currently on this program should make sure to reapply before the 12 months of service ends in order to remain eligible for this service. Parental co-payment of the child care cost is calculated on a sliding scale based on income and the number of children receiving care.

Provides financial assistance to pay for child care while parents work, go to school, or participate in a required work activity through Cuyahoga County Job and Family Services. Provides guidance to help find child care that works best for each family, whether it is traditional care in a licensed facility or care in a certified home setting.
