Provides assistance with transportation to food resources. Covers trips to food pantries and trips to pick up groceries from stores where members have placed an order. Program offers up to 5 round trip visits (10 one way trips) per member to covered services.

Application process

Call to schedule at least 48 hours (two business days) before service is needed. Can schedule ahead up to 30 days in advance. Online scheduling via smart phone app. During the COVID pandemic, Medicaid enrollees were not required to reverify to make sure they were still eligible for Medicaid benefits. The hold on these reverifications has ended and reverification reminder notices will be rolled out throughout the year. Enrollees should look out for reverification packets in the mail and report any address changes to their JFS office. Eligibility

Serves Ohio members of the health plan who are 18 and over. Members get five round trips visits and 10 one way trips. These are in addition to the medical transportation program.
