Offers educational and informational programs in 3 broad areas; Healthy People, Healthy Finances, and Healthy Relationships. The Family and Consumer Sciences Educator collaborates with individuals and organizations in the service area to extend the educational outreach of The Ohio State University and offer research-based knowledge and information to county residents. Following is a list of some current and available programs and topics: - Dining with Diabetes. - Successful Co-Parenting Classes. - Budgeting Classes. - Canning and Preserving Classes - Nutrition. - Life Skills; including Employment Prep, Resume Writing, and Financial Literacy.
