Legal Assistance - Housing Issues | Legal Aid Of Southeast And Central Ohio (lasco)

Provides advice and representation for those being evicted, foreclosed upon, locked out, having difficulty obtaining repairs from a landlord, or who have had utilities terminated. Advice and representation may also be available to those who wish to enforce special rules of subsidized housing, or those seeking assistance with land contract problems and housing discrimination matters. Eligibility

Must have a household income less than 125% of the poverty level and be a United States citizen. Will consider expenses such as childcare, transportation, and health care as well as certain assets when determining financial eligibility for service. Income and asset limits do not apply to persons age 60 or older. Not all eligible cases can be taken. Serves Belmont, Harrison, Jefferson, Monroe, and Noble counties.
