Long Term Care Ombudsman | Catholic Social Services
Provides services to improve the quality of life and quality of care for consumers of long-term care. These consumers include residents of long-term care in nursing homes, residential care facilities, adult care facilities, as well as those who receive community-based long-term care services like home care, transportation, or home delivered meals. Long Term Care Ombudsmen protect the health, safety, welfare, and rights of long-term care residents and consumers by: - Investigating and resolving complaints - Promoting the enforcement of laws and regulations - Advising and recommending policy to state and federal government agencies on long-term care issues - Educating the public, consumers, providers and policy makers.
