- Serves family members and close friends who have received legal custody of a child whose birth parents cannot care for them. Child and caregiver must live in Medina County.
- Family must have total household income no greater than 300% of the Federal Poverty Guideline Level.
- Note: Limited to six (6) months.
- A court must have awarded the kinship caregiver legal custody or guardianship of a child on or after July 1, 2005.
- A public children service agency must have approved the placement and conducted a home assessment.
- Verification of legal custody.
- Proof of income.
