Guardian Ad Litem | Carroll County Probate / Juvenile Court
Provides information concerning court-appointed Guardians Ad Litem (GAL), who advocate for the best interests of children whose parents have become involved with the Juvenile Court due to issues of abuse, neglect, or dependency. The GAL investigates the situation, conducts interviews with the family then prepares a report for the Juvenile Court. Offers training courses for community volunteers who wish to act in the role of the Guardian ad litem.
