Works to get those in a substance addiction crisis, including opiates, into the quickest available treatment. Communicates with detox and treatment providers to find and place those in need. Goal is to provide a structured and meaningful path of care for each of the program's participants.

Application process
Walk in for service. Department contracts with an agency that does the assessment. May also contact department by phone with questions. Outstanding arrest warrants will need to be cleared before entry into program. Department may be able to assist with clearing warrants. Prior offenses are evaluated on a case-by-case basis

Eligibility
Serves Cuyahoga County residents of any age who are addicted to opiates and who wish to detox (if needed) and/or get into treatment that will help. Will need to disclose any outstanding warrants in order to participate in the program. Those with convictions for arson or sex offenses are not eligible for this program.
