Offers refurbished computers for Ohioans with disabilities. Laptop or desktop computer that Includes computer with monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers. Microsoft Windows 10 Professional and Microsoft Office included. Does not include adaptive software for disabilities, but will help client find the type of software needed.

Application process
Phone or write (mail) for information about program and/or to receive an application packet. Application, Participation Agreement Form, Disability verification letter and payment must be received before a computer is prepped for delivery or picked-up. Wait time depends on number of computes being requested by consumers at any one time. Computer technicians are student employees so there may also be delays during holiday breaks, exam weeks and summer session.
Fee
Cost of program is $60. Those who can pick up the computer from main office in Columbus can receive a reduced fee of $30. All documents and payment must be received before computer is shipped or picked-up. Checks and Money Orders only.
Eligibility
Disabled persons who are residents of Ohio (any age or disability). Only one computer per household. May only receive a computer once every three years.
