LATINA DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROJECT | JOURNEY CENTER FOR SAFETY AND HEALING
Provides a variety of services to help in preventing or dealing with domestic violence issues for families in the Hispanic community. Will provide accompaniment to court appearances for women who are victims as well as accompanying women to police stations when filing domestic violence police reports. Provides immigration-related help when appropriate. Provides individual counseling for women and their children. Provides a support group for Hispanic women with domestic violence issues. Support group provides a meal and child care during the meeting. Will do speaking engagements about the issues and does issue outreach to this community during events.

Eligibility
Serves the Hispanic community in Cuyahoga County. Agency accepts all survivors of domestic violence regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. This includes transgender as well as gender diverse individuals. Although court accompaniment services are generally restricted to certain courts throughout the county, this project serves all municipal and Cuyahoga County courts.
