OHIO WORKS FIRST | HAMILTON COUNTY JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES
Determines eligibility and processes applications for the Ohio Works First (OWF) program, also known as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). Individuals must spend 20-35 hours per week working, in school, or volunteering. Individuals may also work with Community Link to remove barriers to work. Families are eligible for the program for up to 36 months.

Application process
Application required. Applications can be completed online, faxed, mailed, or delivered in person. Applications can take up to 30 days to process. An interview is required to receive benefits once an application has been submitted, usually within two weeks. A letter will be sent by mail with the date and time of interview.
