Individuals seeking a driver's license for the first time must apply in person after passing the required tests administered by the Kentucky State Police. Licenses may be renewed by mail, in person, or online at https://dlrenewal.ky.gov/. Updates/changes may be submitted by mail or in person. Appointment recommended for in-person services. Appointments may be made online at https://drive.ky.gov/Pages/Find-an-Office.aspx
