Escorted Transportation | Lorain County Office On Aging
Provides nonemergency door-to-door transportation within Lorain County for older adults who require routine medical services and who are unable to use other available means of transportation. Possible destinations include medical, dental, and vision appointments and hospitals or centers for tests or other regular treatment. Provides door through door assistance and can accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices.

Application process
- Call the office to request enrollment paperwork. - Complete and return enrollment paperwork. - Call to schedule a ride as soon as possible; riders are asked to call as least two weeks prior to their appointment. - A reminder call is placed to the passenger the day before the trip.
Fee
No fee, but donations are accepted.

- Serves Lorain County residents age 60 and over. - Pick up and destination must be within Lorain County.
