Education Choice Scholarship Program | Ohio Department Of Education And Workforce
Provides scholarships to students who attend consistently underperforming public schools. The program has been expanded to include low income families with students in grades K-4. The scholarships may be used to attend private schools that meet the requirements for program participation.

Application process
Students must apply and be accepted to a participating private school. The school will submit an application on behalf of the parent. A list of schools is available on the ODE website.
Fee
Application fees vary by school. Some schools may waive fee or accept a payment plan.
Eligibility
Eligibility by under-performing school is determined by attendance and/or assignment to a public school building that has letter grades of D and F on their report card. Eligibility for the expansion of Edchoice is for families under 200% of poverty with students entering grades K-4.
