Behavioral Health Individual Outpatient Program (iop) | University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center

Provides a short-term group-therapy treatment program facilitated by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians. Service includes consultation by the team psychiatrist for medication management. Each patient has an individualized treatment plan and, prior to discharge, appointments for follow-up care are facilitated in order to ensure continuity of care.

M-F: 9:00am-12:00noon; Program is a minimum of six weeks. Weekly visits with nurse practitioner.

Application process

Call for assessment appointment. A comprehensive assessment of the patient is required for admission to the IOP. Will be assigned a counselor or psychiatrist, depending on what is needed.

Takes most third-party health insurances, including Medicare.

Eligibility

May or may not have a diagnosis of a psychiatric disorder prior to contacting clinic.Serves all ages.
