Application process

Applications must be completed in person if the applicant is seeking their first passport, their previous passport was issued when they were under the age of 16, their previous passport was lost or stolen, or their previous passport was issued more than 15 years ago. Applicants who do not meet these criteria may be eligible for renewal by mail.
