Serves middle school and high school students in 17 Ohio counties including Lorain, Medina, Portage, and Summit counties.
- Monday - Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm. - Suicide Prevention is held over two (2) consecutive days, one (1) class period per day for grades 6-12. - Stress Management is a 45-minute program held in one (1) class period for grades 5-12.

Some handouts/material available in Spanish, by request.

Description

Educates middle and high school students about mental health, suicide, and its prevention through school-based programs, which connects at-risk youth to school-based mental health resources and empower/motivate them to reach out to a trusted adult and seek professional mental health services/support.

Seeks to prevent suicide as well as assist surviving family members and friends of those who have taken their own lives. Hosts educational conferences for survivors, provides gatekeeper training sessions for those working with at-risk populations, offers a speaker's bureau, and works with high schools throughout Northeast Ohio to administer a teen suicide prevention program.
