Eligibility
-The child must be in temporary, permanent, or legal custody of a PCSA or Title IV-E court.
-The caregiver must be 18+, not a licensed foster parent, and not have legal custody.
-The child must be placed in the caregiver’s home; youth in the Bridges program are not eligible.
- Nonrelatives with a long-standing relationship to the child or family are eligible.
- Payment can be received for a 6-month period only, unless the child is no longer in PCSA custody, the placement ends, or the caregiver obtains foster home certification.
