JUVENILE COURT INTERVENTION CENTER | MONTGOMERY COUNTY JUVENILE COURT

Acts as the centralized receiving/screening department for delinquent and unruly juvenile referrals (this includes walk-ins, detainments, paper referrals, etc.). The center makes determination on where to place juveniles, who are brought in, whether in secure detention or less restrictive control (ex. ankle bracelets.). The center also makes referrals to service providers, handles expungement and by-pass requests, can conduct voluntary drug screenings, and is responsible for the electronic home monitoring program.
