Reports can be made by phone, mail, or in person. After hours, call 740-452-6339 or 740-455-6710 to leave a message and someone will call you right back.

Adult Protective Services are provided to an adult, who has been determined by evaluation, for the prevention, correction, or discontinuance of an act, or conditions resulting from physical, emotional or sexual abuse, neglect and/or self-neglect, as well as exploitation. The name of any individual reporting abuse and neglect is confidential and cannot be released without the reporter's permission or under direct order from the court. Although anonymous reports are accepted, reporters are encouraged to give their names so that additional or clarifying information can be gathered if necessary.

Our agency collaborates with local law enforcement, medical providers, and other community social service providers to bring timely health and safety services to children, individuals, and families.
