Adult Protective Services are provided to an adult, who has been determined by evaluation, for the prevention, correction, or discontinuance of an act, or conditions resulting from physical, emotional or sexual abuse, neglect and/or self-neglect, as well as exploitation.
The name of any individual reporting abuse and neglect is confidential and cannot be released without the reporter's permission or under direct order from the court. Although anonymous reports are accepted, reporters are encouraged to give their names so that additional or clarifying information can be gathered if necessary.
