Dog Control/dog Rescue | Darke County Animal Shelter
Enforces the law and tickets offenders who do not properly confine or control their dogs. Performs license checks and responds to reports of neglected, abused, abandoned, or nuisance dogs. Provides animal rescue services for dogs in emergency, life-threatening situations (such as being stuck in a fast-moving stream). Will also investigate livestock deaths caused by dogs or coyotes.
