Mental Health - General And Subject Specific Counseling | Cleveland Clinic Foundation
Provides counseling to deal with a variety of life transition and other general counseling issues. Includes counseling around health problems, issues of loss (bereavement, grief) , counseling for issues that arise after the birth of a child, marriage counseling, and general counseling for youth. A mental health counselor addresses emotional aspects of infertility at one location. Not all services are offered at every location.

Application process
A referral for service is required from a hospital primary care physician or specialist. Phone for intake appointment at main site by leaving a message 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call will be returned, but it may take several days. Call Homecare Services to schedule bereavement counseling M-F: 8:00am-5:00pm.
Fee
Third-party payment accepted, including Medicaid and Medicare. Those who have no health insurance must have household income at or below 400% of federal poverty guidelines to apply for financial help. Financial Counselors (FC) will screen uninsured for Marketplace insurance, Medicaid, or hospital charity eligibility. Patients who qualify for charity might not always have a 100% of bill covered. Those who have an outstanding bill may be able to receive a payment plan on a case-by-case basis.
Eligibility
Youth counseling, ages 12 through 17. Other counseling for those aged 18 and over.
