Electric and natural gas marketers are provided a list of eligible customers by each of the regulated utilities. Under rules established by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO), your electric and natural gas utilities are required to provide certified energy marketers with a list of customers who are eligible for energy choice. This list will include your name, address, and usage information. To prevent the utilities from disclosing this account information to marketers, you can call their customer service telephone number or visit their website.
