Serves residents of Medina County who are experiencing financial hardship.
  • For utilities: Must be behind in payments.
  • For rent/mortgage: Must be behind in rent payments.
NOTE: If application is approved, the average amount of assistance per applicant is $200 per month. There is a lifetime limit for this service.

  • Application is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Applications are due by the 1st Friday.

Application process

  • Visit the website for the online application.
  • Deadline to complete application is the 1st Friday of every month.
  • Decisions by the Board are made at their monthly board meeting held on the 2nd Wednesday.
  • If approved, distribution of funds occur after the board meeting and are paid directly to the landlord or utility company.
NOTE: Incomplete applications may not be presented to the board.

Provides financial assistance with utilities, rent, mortgage, and medical bills. This is a monthly application process and does not have an emergency, shorter turnaround time to evaluate applications. All assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis and is dependent upon available funds. NOTE: Does not provide assistance for transportation expenses such as gas, bus tickets, or car repairs.
