Provides a free, anonymous, computer based service that immediately notifies registered users upon a change in an offender's status (release, transfer etc.). Computer generated notification calls will be made anytime there is a change in status and continues every half-hour for 24 hours (or leaves a message on answering machine every two hours) until client enters an identification number. In some cases, a notification letter will be sent. Has information about state prisons, some county jails, and some juvenile facilities. Does not maintain municipal information. Will also provide just the location and status of an offender.

Application process
Phone for information 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Using a touch-tone phone, caller registers by entering his/her phone number and an identification number. When there is a change in offender's status, the caller will be contacted with a computer generated message or by mail in some cases. There is an option to speak with someone. May also use website anytime.
