First-time passport applicants must apply in person at a passport agency or through an agent located at some post offices and courts. For a passport agency location in Cuyahoga, Medina, and all other counties phone the toll-free National Passport Information Center line or go to the Website iafdb.travel.state.gov to search for local offices by ZIP code. In Geauga County, the Geauga Clerk of Courts is the only passport agency: walk-in for service M: 9:00am-5:00pm, Tu-F: 8:00am-4:00pm. Passport renewal can be done via mail; go to Web site for instructions.
