Advanced Technology Academy (ATA) | Cuyahoga Community College

Provides job training for in-demand professions including Precision Machine Technology, Industrial Welding, Auto Technology, State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Culinary Arts, 911 Telecommunications and Emergency Medical Dispatch, Machinists, among others. Program provides tuition, books, supplies, equipment, uniforms, bus passes, program milestone stipends (up to $1000 or more based on funding available), paid internships, and job placement. In addition to hard skills training, all students attend a professional development course where they gain work-readiness skills in areas such as vision and goal-setting, financial planning, entrepreneurship, resume writing, and interviewing. Industry speakers often address classes.

Serves ages 17-24 who possess a high school diploma/GED, and live in Cuyahoga County. Prefers those who are parenting OR live within a low-income home with a minor sibling, but program is not restricted to individuals who meet this criteria.
