Call the toll-free hotline or 8-1-1 or complete an online request form at www.oups.org/edig before digging on a property. Call/online request must be made at least two (2) working days (not including the day of the request and excluding weekends and holidays). Must provide address and details of the project. All digging projects must begin within 16 calendar days.

Educates and promotes that it is the responsibility of the individual utility owner to mark the location of underground facilities at the excavation site. Acts as a communication link but does not physically mark utility lines.
